I am getting 1 cent or less per click , what should i do ?

That is what i hear from lot of my webmaster friends .

for low paying advertisers and their clicks
you can select the low paying advertisers and shun them out from advertising on your site .( Dit will be difficlut to point out who is paying how much , but you can get idea from monitoring a particular banner for some particluar time frame)

the another way is to get more of traffic , more traffic == more exposure to your google adds so more clicks , your earnign will increase in this manner

frankly saying that is why i always Advise webmasters to try alternatives of adsense and monetising their impressions also

try pay-ads , they pay for impressions from UK and USA . and they have autopayout
so just add their code nd forget abut them , u will have money flowing in your paypal account . you can try popup s too for monetising your traffic

how adsense pays ? after how much time adsense pays??

you might have some doubt on whether adsense will pay you or not

so let me clear up some things for you
adsense will pay you when you will hit 100 $ mark
Your Cheque will be released on next month s 20-28 th the month you Reached 100 $

so if you started in august and reached 100 $ mark by oct 25th , then you are eligible for payment and your Cheque will be processed by google and sent to you from dates 20-28 th of nov . you will probably receive cheque in end of nov or upto 10th of dec

if you havent received your cheque for considerable amount of time then you can request a reissue of the cheque

What noobs should follow , while starting adsense

The one thing that you will need to follow most is to have Patience

1 follow the rules mentioned in Adsense policies. You will always earn more revenue from Adsense by playing it with google

2. Never modify the Adsense HTML code Given.

3 Don't ask your friends or visitors to click on Google ads. Do not include incentives of any kind for users to click on ads. Don't label the Google ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements.".

What is CTr- CLick through Rate - as told in Wikipedia

Click-through rate or CTR is a way of measuring the success of an online advertising campaign. A CTR is obtained by dividing the number of users who clicked on an ad on a web page by the number of times the ad was delivered (impressions). For example, if your banner ad was delivered 100 times (impressions delivered) and one person clicked on it (clicks recorded), then the resulting CTR would be 1 percent.
Banner ad click-through rates have fallen over time, often measuring significantly less than 1 percent. By selecting an appropriate advertising site with high affinity (e.g. a movie magazine for a movie advertisement), the same banner can achieve a substantially higher click-through rate. Personalized ads, unusual formats, and more obtrusive ads typically have higher click-through rates than standard banner ads.
CTR is most commonly defined as number of clicks divided by number of impressions and generally not in terms of number of persons who clicked. This is an important difference because if one person clicks 10 times on the same advertisement instead of once then the CTR would increase in the earlier definition but would stay the same in term of later definition.
